I love that you are paying attention to your emotions and recognising that something doesn’t feel good and needs addressing, or are aware that you are struggling to tune into what your thoughts and emotions are telling you and yet know that you need to make some important decisions in your life and so need clarity and confidence for making the right decisions.
How coaching for your relationship with yourself works
You’ve been carrying the weight of something in your mind for a while, and you want to get clarity, create a plan that works with your personality so that you can take persistent action until you have achieved the important changes you are craving, and in the process become an evolved, improved version of yourself.
You can improve your relationship with yourself. Research finds that people can and do change their self-esteem and personality during their lifetime. And we all know that what we had planned doesn’t always work out the way we expected. Where you are now is to help you, even if it doesn’t feel or look that way right now.
What you do now determines whether you continue to suffer or grow and become happy and healthy and create the life you want. As you coach I will help you to gain clarity, resolve any past issues that are still haunting your life, help you to change your self-image, change how you think and behave in a manageable way that becomes a natural part of the new you, and help you to achieve the outcomes you are desperate to achieve.
I usually help clients to achieve their coaching goals in just a handful of sessions, results you’d usually expect to achieve after a much lengthier counselling/therapy program (testimonials here).
My goal has always been to help my clients in as few sessions as possible, in a positive, uplifting environment.
To achieve this I use a science-based, solution-focused, and goal-focused approach that is compassionate, empowering, non-judgemental, and intuitive.
I tend to see clients Tuesdays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm (UK time) to accommodate most time zones.
Before you start I will provide you with a questionnaire so that you can give me a brief overview of your situation and what you want to achieve through coaching, plus specific guidance on how to get the most out of each coaching session and the coaching journey.
You’ll set the agenda for your sessions, directing your sessions and life to where you want them to go, and I will of course help. To help you quickly, I will use a combination of skillful questioning, sharing expert insights into your unique situation, using my intuition, and suggesting tasks/strategies that will help you to make quick progress.
Simple exercises will be a crucial part of your progress but you will only undertake exercises you’re happy to utilise that will help you to achieve your goals; and they’re usually easy and sometimes fun too!
